So, to recap a little, I have a friend named Jeremy Benjamin who is trying to make it as an actor out in L.A. I checked in with him after he had been out there a few months for this column, and now I thought I’d see how it’s been after a year.
Well, things have taken an interesting turn. Unable to find much work, Jeremy has decided to do what so many impressionable youths have done: he’s turned to pornography. (read the rest)

So, next month marks the 15th anniversary of the last new episode of Seinfeld airing. It really seems hard to believe that it was that long ago. Of course the show has never gone off the air and still lives on in re-runs, and it’s probably just as funny as ever.
But what does Seinfeld have to do with movies? Well, I’m glad you asked. Movies, either real or imagined, always played a big part in the show. (read the rest)

After seeing 22-year-old Jennifer Lawrence win Best Actress for SILVER LINGS PLAYBOOK a couple of weeks ago, I started thinking about young Oscar winners. It seems like it might really be somewhat of a detriment to win at such an early age. After all, for most actors, isn’t winning an Oscar the ultimate dream? The thing they aspire to do, the apex of a career? Where can Lawrence go from here? (read the rest)
